Uncommonly kind and reliable people here. Aram went above and beyond to rescue us and save our vacation. Totally restored my faith in mechanics and fellow man for that matter. Can't praise these guys enough.

Any mechanic really can rip off those of us not exactly car mechanically inclined. So I was unsure what to expect with these guys when I took my car in for a transmission problem. They told me what they thought it might be right off the bat but needed to check it out. Turns out they were right, fixed it at a very reasonable price and we great throughout the whole process. I would have no problem taking my car back here if future issues ever arise.

Ron rebuilt my transmission and test drove and adjusted many times for free to make it work perfect, never had the usual attitude of normal mechanic shops, very easy to deal with

Great guys, honest work. Chrys is professional, helpful, listens well. Though my car was beyond help, they gave great advice and reasonable price for assessment. Traded the car guys, I'll pop by so you can check out my new ride! :)

My 2004 Honda Accord V6 has around 280K miles on it, so I finally figured that it's time to have it's second transmission service.  I say this in tongue-in-cheek, I think I've had it done more than twice, but it's definitely been a long time since the last one.  I've always gone back to the Honda dealership in Simi Valley for service since I've had a business relationship with them for many years.  However, spending my Saturday mornings (and sometimes afternoons) in their customer lounge just to get an oil change or having to schedule service weeks in advance and knowingly overpaying for some of the service/parts started to get old.  So, on the glowing referral of a family friend, I paid a visit to TRC this week for transmission service.  I was greeted in a very professional manner by Ron and his staff, and my car was on the rack in a few minutes.  I told them that I was a "Conway Twitty" kinda driver (read: relaxed and laid back) so the tranny shouldn't be too worn out.  Upon initial draining, Ron told me that the fluid was burnt.  That explained the smell every time I started the car (and not my Brut cologne).  He suggested that we do a double fill and drain rather than flush so as not to shock the system.  Fine by me.  Cut to the chase, the hesitation and sluggishness that I'd been experiencing over the past year was gone when I pulled away from the TRC driveway.  Ron did ask me if I'd been experiencing any hesitation or shifting issues and I said no, as I honestly thought I just needed new plugs and maybe some BG44K.  Here's my take:  I am very, very satisfied with the work done on my Accord - quick, honest, professional, and I was out of there in about 30 minutes.  I'm not going to jump the gun and say that this'll be everyone's experience, I was lucky that there weren't two cars ahead of me.  But they work fast, clean and honest.  Price was good too.  I'm rating them 4 stars for now but I'm bringing in my 2007 Odyssey and the rating may change!  Stay tuned and thanks Ron!

I have been going to this Aamco for 30+ years and have always enjoyed outstanding customer service and quality repairs to my cars.  Anybody I have referred here has been exceptionally happy.  That's the best way to keep a business going, by referring family and friends.  Aram runs a professional auto care business and his team are equally professional, qualified, hard working men who care about their work.

I drive a 1998 Dodge Stratus... still! Last week it started vibrating violently at higher speeds and making a lot of noise. My regular mechanic ran a computer test and said it's the catalytic converter. I asked him maybe he should take it on the road for a test to get a full sense of how it sounds and feels just in case it's something else. He just shook his head and said it's not necessary because he knows my car. So I had the catalytic converted replaced. It got a little better but the vibrations continued. So I started looking online for other mechanics and decided to bring it to the guys at AAMCO. They did a full diagnostic, including a road test, and said I need new drive axles. They replaced the axles and did a road test and told me it was fixed. I took it out on the road and it was like having an epiphany. The car felt like it was reborn. It drove so smooth and easy it felt like a brand new car. I just had to go back and thank them in person. They are honest and professional and very detail oriented. They made me a VERY happy customer and I highly recommend them.
